GetMeRegistered registration is open until 4/7. (the deadline for mail-in entries was 4/1; ) The 10th Annual Capital Striders Loop the Lake run marks the unofficial start of the racing season and is a must-do event for runners of all skill levels. The flat and fast 8K race will start at 8:00am, making 2+ laps around Gray’s Lake near downtown Des Moines. Following the 8K, the Little Lakers race, a race for kids ages 0 – 10 will be held at approximately 9:15am.
