Results & Pictures
"'Bout time!" was the cry from runners and volunteers
alike when perfect running weather appeared, on cue, for this
year's Loop the Lake. After slogging through steady rain in
2005 and a wind chill hovering near 0 last year, the 2008
weather conditions rendered those races but a distant memory.
The ideal running conditions were a big factor in the record
number of registrants and finishers - 530. Check out your
time and those of your friends on the race
results.

from the race with all the color of the runners, a super spring
day, and even stilt-walking mimes from Cirque
du Soleil Saltimbanco scheduled to perform in Des Moines.
It really was a race to remember.
