Gray's Lake offers a scenic paved trail around a picturesque 93-acre lake. The area offers beautiful views of the water and the Des Moines skyline, making it an ideal location for an 8K race. The 2026 route will be certified.
Little Lakers (ages 12 and under) will follow the 8K race. There is no cost to participate, and registration is not required.
COST
- $40 - January 2-9, 2026
- $50 - January 10 to March 28, 2026
- $60 - March 29 to April 9, 2026
Capital Strider members receive a $10 discount on the entry fee.
