Connect with local groups. Enjoy a Brooks demo run with chances to win gear and take part in raffles. After the race, head to SingleSpeed Brewing Co. for a relaxed social and bring gently used running shoes to support local shelters and track programs while earning extra raffle entries.

Celebrate five decades of running with Fleet Feet at The Big Run presented by Brooks. This community 5k on Global Running Day is all about summer vibes, shared memories, and the kind of runner’s high that keeps you coming back.
And it wouldn't be Global Running Day without the crew! Our friends at 515 Run Club, Cool Runnings, Gratitude Running, and Capital Striders will all be there. Meet the people, find your pace, and explore all of the incredible clubs that make running in Des Moines so special!
Take advantage of a special demo run from Brooks, try out the latest shoes for free during the run for a chance to win a pair, and stick around for raffles featuring Brooks apparel.
Afterward, hang out with us at SingleSpeed Brewing Co. for a casual post-run social. Grab a drink and some food, swap stories, and check out each club’s table to learn more.
We’re also giving back to the community with a shoe drive. Bring a gently used pair of running shoes to donate to local shelters and track programs, and help keep more people moving. Get an extra raffle ticket for every pair brought!
